On Greenwich in the Gilded Age, we'll take you to Nash Cottage in Belle Haven -made possible by Victorian Summer: The Historic Houses of Belle Haven Park, Greenwich, Connecticut by Matt Bernard.

In 1906, the staff and patients at Greenwich General Hospital enjoyed a bountiful Christmas.

In 1914, the people of Greenwich were urged to shop early -and you'll learn why. (Hint: Some things never change).

Milo Mead, the 'Sage of New Lebanon' and likewise known for his opinions, spoke out via the Greenwich Graphic in 1899.

In 1916, a trolley conductor fell out -causing women to scream. No one was reportedly hurt.

Also in 1916, Charles A. Moore's car rolled down Greenwich Avenue crashing into a barbershop.

Crimes and Misdemeanors is the show segment on -you guess right- crimes in Greenwich's history.

We'll have all this -and more- as our history continues to unfold.

The Greenwich Historical Society is hosting a series of exhibitions and public events -and you're invited!
