Welcome to the 2nd of April, 2024 show.

On Greenwich in the Gilded Age, we'll journey back in time and visit McCord Cottage, made possible by Victorian Summer: The Historic Houses of Belle Haven Park, Greenwich, Connecticut by Matt Bernard.

On Greenwich Life As It Is-And Was, Erwin Edwards commented on the origin of Connecticut's reputed "Blues Laws."

Several drunk, boisterous visitors wanted to "lick the cop" in 1920. How did that go? I'll have the details.

In June, 1924 Mrs. Percy Rockefeller decorated the interior of the Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church for a special wedding.

It was the day after April Fool's Day in 1920 when the people of Greenwich learned that the "Mammoth Circus of the famous Bungling Brothers"  was coming to town to give the "famous world beating show" at the YMCA.

Sketch artist Whitman Bailey shared his work and his thoughts about the old Cos Cob tidal mill that burned down in 1898.

We'll have all this -and more- as our history continues to unfold.
