On Greenwich in the Gilded Age, we will journey back in time and visit The Columns -later, Ashford, in Belle Haven, made possible by Victorian Summer: The Historic Houses of Belle Haven Park, Greenwich, Connecticut by Matt Bernard.  



Lenox House, later the site of the Pickwick Arms Hotel in Greenwich. 

Judge Frederick A. Hubbard returns to share the news about how trials were held in Greenwich's Lenox House.



The first-ever "yacht carnival" was held in August, 1888.



In August, 1888, the first-ever "yacht carnival" was held at the Indian Harbor Hotel. The hotel was demolished in 1895. Commodore E.C. Benedict's Indian Harbor estate stands here today. 


The boys of Greenwich received a stern warning about stealing from one of the town's estates. Edson Jones, a genealogist who resided in Belle Haven, was hit by a train.
