On Greenwich in the Gilded Age, we’ll visit the estate known as The Knoll, thanks to Victorian Summer: The Historic Houses of Belle Haven Park, Greenwich, Connecticut by Matt Bernard.

What happened in Year 1965?

Greenwich artist and author Whitman Bailey took his readers back to American Revolutionary War times, sharing the story of the shooting of Captain Sylvanus Mead in the Ralph Peck House in Cos Cob.

In 1931, the Greenwich Council of the Boy Scouts of America was presented with the Sea Scout Ship Awa.

You’ll learn about a dynamite ban at the town’s incinerator, crimes and misdemeanors, an effort by Greenwich’s garden clubs to improve the appearance of the Greenwich Railroad Station -or replace the station- and more, as our history continues to unfold.

The Greenwich Historical Society is hosting a series of exhibitions and public events -and you're invited!

Show podcast episodes are posted weekly on various social media platforms.

I also encourage you to like and visit the group You Know You're From Greenwich Ct If, where links to the show are posted weekly, too.

Mark your calendars. The next show is scheduled for Tuesday, the 29th of April 2025.
